Originally I am from Massachusetts and grew up in a small town my entire life. After high school, I attended the University of Connecticut where I obtained my B.S. and Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.). While at UConn, in the lab of Dr. Amy Anderson I worked to elucidate how point mutations in dihydrofolate reductase (DHFR) contribute to antibiotic resistance in methicillin resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) and developed strategies for overcoming these mechanisms. Currently, I am a grad student in the Levin/Buck Lab. Outside the lab, I enjoy spending time with friends, playing sports, traveling & eating at different restaurants throughout NYC.
